Dear SCREAns
In view of the General Manager/SCR's inspections scheduled over the Zone in all the divisions, the activities of our Association were a bit slow for the past one and half months. As almost all the engineers are engaged restlessly in the related activities of the inspection, little communication gap has come. Now, we again have to dedicate atleast an hour per day in strengthening the activities of our association as committed by us.
You are all aware that the registration process of our association is pending since considerable time. The hurdle for registration arised at accommodation for registered office. We did several efforts to get a place from the administration but in vain being unrecognized organization. So, we put all efforts and ultimately could able to get a hired accommodation. The legal procedures such as lease agreement etc; are finished yesterday and the documents required are submitted to our legal adviser Mr.Vikram who is taking care of the registration. So, by mid of this month, our organizations registration will be completed.
It is unfortunate but true that, some of the office bearers from recognized unions are trying to threaten our office bearers and applying pressures through their controlling officers to bring them out from SCREA. It is a very bad sign and where our unity is utmost requisite. We practically tasted the bitterness of the parity shown towards our cadre by those leaders. If engineers yields to their pressure, we definitely will descend the ladder by few more steps. I request all SCREAns to be stubborn to achieve our demands and to keep our status.
I request all SCREAns to send your views and suggestions in improvising the association through our email. Here again I am reiterating the mail id of SCREA.
"engineers.screa@gmail.com"
If all engineers joins their hands, definitely it will be more than the length of railways network.
Further, GS/ECOREA sent a message that their CEC meeting will be held at Bhubaneswar on 09th May. It is requested that interested engineers shall intimate him at the earliest so that arrangements can be made. If your willingness is intimated to any of our Zonal/Divisional office bearers, it will be informed to GS/ECoREA.

Dear Engineers,
ReplyDeleteUnity of any group is more strong than the recognisation. If we will stay united, everybody will fear us. This is the point why recognised unions are trying to break our unity. Please remeber, we are engineers and not labours. So we should not bend.

Dear Mohantiji
ReplyDeleteThank you for the support. Here in our railway, recognized trade union people are threatening engineers joining in SCREA.They are saying nothing can be achieved unless they support and these engineers' associations will not last more than 2 to 3 years. They further saying that engineers' cannot stand united of their internal politics and history reveals the same fact.
Dear Er Viswanadhgaru,
ReplyDeleteIt is quiet correct that without their support, we can not achieved any thing. But what they have done for us since two decades ? Why our association/federation has been formed ? That is due to their this type of cooperation only. Due to them only we have been downgraded. They do not realize our duty & responsibility. Earlier SCREA was not formed but what they have done for the engineers ? Is it correct that an engineer should be kept below nurse ! What they have done for other staff also ? It is more than 1 & half years, pass rule could not come and re-designation which will not affect any administration work has also not come. Then what type of help they will do for us ?
For starting any good work there should be obstacles so that we can build ourselves more strongly.
Regarding internal politics, it exists where educated & qualified people work together, but it never harms.
Regards,
Er. B. Mohanty
Dear Bobin
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100% and the same I am conveying to all our engineers. As you said, not from two decades, but from the formation of AIRF and NFIR also they did nothing specific for engineers. Our engineers are asking what SCREA did in these 4 months. I am asking them one question. The organizations that did not anything for the past century cannot be achieved by a tiny association formed 4 months back. This association could bring awareness in the engineers how they are deprived of their rights and what ill treatment was given to the cadre. Further, it is a collective effort and no single man can achieve any thing. I am telling them the story of 4 bulls and lion. Unless we strengthen our hands, we cannot directly fight with Railway administration. Meanwhile, we need not consider any one as enemies. After all, trade unions are having their own priorities being representing several other cadres of Railway. Any how, thank you for your support.
Regards
