Dear SCREAns

           Thank you for participating in the poll to know about progress of SCREA. 71% of engineers felt that SCREA is keeping good pace and 27% of the engineers suggested more efforts are required. Certainly I support the views of our Engineers. Running an association is an intricate task for few people. It should be a collective effort. Fortunately SCREA is receiving support from all fronts and hence progressing with good pace. But, as our engineers suggested, it requires more efforts for to gain strength.

            As on date, after formation of SCREA on 12th Dec 2009; we could able to form Division bodies of Vijayawada and Guntur only. Still we should form Division bodies of Secunderabad, Guntakal, Hyderabad and Nanded. The membership drive is very slow in these divisions. 

           All our engineers are aware that this is the high time for Rail Engineers to unite and to achieve our minimum rights. If not now, never we can get them. 

          I humbly request all Rail Engineers to inculcate awareness among our colleague rail engineers on the need. Each Rail Engineer should take up a task to educate at least another two rail engineers and join them as members of SCREA. This effort will definitely keep us in a strong position than any other organization.

We are very sorry to inform that Er.D.V.Ramana, SE/Drg/PCE/OL/SC suddenly demised on early hours of 02.03.2010 due to cardiac arrest. SCREA conveys its heartiest condolences to his family members and requests to observe mourning for two minutes in the lunch hour on 05.03.2010.

GUNTUR DIVISION

 

Dear SCREAns,

It is very happy to announce that the Guntur Division meeting and the elections are successfully conducted as scheduled in a very harmonious and pleasant atmosphere. The total strength of Engineers over GNT division is around 120. About 70 engineers have attended the meet and participated in Elections. This is showing the initiation they are having in taking ahead of the Association and realization of the need for unity among Engineers. Nomination forms were received from volunteered engineers as per the notification. As One nomination each was received for the posts, the office bearers are unanimously elected by all the gathered Engineers under a loud applause. The list of office bearers is annexed herewith. Elections were witnessed by Er.K.L.V.S.Viswanadh, General Secy/SCREA; Er.K.Nageswara Rao, Zonal Finance Secy/SCREA; Er.K.Chandrasekhar Rao; Active Zonal Member; Er. S.Srinivas, Divl.Secy/SCREA/BZA divn., and other Veteran Engineers of the Division. 

Let us all give them three cheers and support them at every pace to lead OUR association ahead to achieve our goals and aspirations.
