DIVISION ELECTIONS AT VIJAYAWADA
DEAR SCREANs
Vijayawada Division is convening a huge meeting on 09.07.2014 at Railway Institute, Vijayawada from 14.00 Hrs to 17.00 Hrs to elect new body of office bearers for SCREA/BZA Division. Our beloved leaders from the Zonal Headquarters and other divisions are also attending. Various demands put forth to Hon'ble MR Sri Sathananda Gouda; Memorandum submitted before VII Pay commission; various activities undertaken by SCREA; planning on forthcoming Engineers' Day; Election of New Division body will be discussed in the meeting. All Engineers are requested to participate and show the unity to achieve our goals.

MEMORANDUM TO HON'BLE M.P SRI BANDARU DATTATREYAJI
Dear SCREANs
On 27.07.2014; under the able leadership of Er.J.Rajkumar; the team of office bearers of SCREA met Sri Bandaru Dattatreya; Hon'ble MP of Secunderabad constituency and submitted a memorandum. Hon'ble MP inquired on the key points of injustice done. Er. Ramesh corroborated how we are compelled to compare with Nursing cadre and how the cadres were demoralized during several pay commissions. Hon'ble MP; who was MoSR; agreed that injustice was done and assured that he looks into the matter. He further advised the Engineers to attend his office for elaborate discussions on the subject soon after the Parliament session to project the issue at appropriate level. Er. V.B.V.S.Raju, Genl.Secy/SCREA; Er.Viswanathan Ganapathy; Er. Ramesh; Er. K.L.V.S.Viswanadham; Er.A.K.Chowdhury and Sri Harish are among the team who submitted memorandum to Hon'ble MP.

Dear SCREANs
On 17.07.2014, the team of 10 Engineers lead by Er.J.Rajkumar, President/SCREA; Er. S.B.S.Sharma, President/AIREF; Er.V.B.V.S.Raju, GS/SCREA; Er.Viswanathan Ganapathy;Er. Ramesh and other office bearers from AIREF met Hon'ble MR Sri Sathananda Goudaji and submitted a memorandum. Hon'ble MR have given ample time to the representatives of our Engineers and in detailed inquired into the injustice done to the cadre of subordinate Rail Engineers during various pay commissions. Our engineers could successfully convey the hardships being faced by the Rail Engineer community and the reasons for forceful comparison with other categories. They expressed the need for amalgamation of Engineers cadre in to Group B. Hon'ble MR assured that he definitely looks into the matter and do justice. Further, our Engineers requested for one more appointment after Parliament sessions to give elaborate and cadre wise details to Hon'ble MR and the same was accepted.
