       Sub:-- Request for postponement of LDCE examination in lieu of   GM’s Annual inspection schedule—Reg.

              South Central Railway Engineers’ Association humbly submits the following few lines for your kind consideration and to initiate favourable action to extend equal justification to all the Group‘C’ Engineers of Electrical Department.

              Written test for selection of Group’B’ Junior Scale Officers through 30% LDCE in Electrical Department is scheduled to held on 21-02-2010 vide CPO/SC Lr.No: P/Gaz./607/EL/LDCE/2009 dated 27.01.2010.

              Sir, as our General Manager is conducting his Annual inspection over all the Divisions of South Central Railway, the Electrical Engineers working in the field are devoting their full time to attend the works incidental to GM’s inspection and unable to get even few hours time to refresh their subject.  Also staff are directed to other places to meet the workload.

              Sir, as you aware, the GM’s inspection schedule over the Zone is:

                    On 05.02.2010                                          GNT Division

                    On 11.02.2010                                          HYB Division

                    On 26.02.2010 and 27.02.2010              BZA Division

                    On 04.03.2010 and 05.03.2010              SC Division

                    On 12.03.2010                                          NED Division

              In lieu of the above, SCREA on behalf of the Group ‘C’ engineers of Electrical Department humbly submits to kindly postpone the written test for Selection to Group’B’ through LDCE duly giving adequate time for preparation to the examination.
