GENERAL MANAGER
South Central Railway
Sir,
We, the Group ‘C’ Engineers’ of South Central Railway heartily wish that under your able guidance we keep our Railway at the summit of all the Zonal Railways in India.
Sir, The South Central Railway Engineers’ Association was formed on 12-12-2009, with an aim to inculcate brotherhood among all the Engineers working in different fronts and departments of S.C.Railway, so that South Central Railway can be made best Railway zone among all the zones with a collective effort.
Sir, in the Railways employee cadres are represented by associations like Station Masters’ Association, Guards’ Council, Loco Running Staff Association, Ministerial Staff Association etc., apart from Mazdoor Union and Employees Sangh. Even the officers’ of Railway are united under SCROA and SCRPOA. But, the cadre of Group ‘C’ engineers is not having a platform to collectively share their views, knowledge and to represent administration. 13 Zonal Railways and 2 Production units formed their Engineers’ Associations a year back and affiliated to All India Railway Engineers’ Federation, New Delhi. This is the cause of birth of “SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY ENGINEERS’ ASSOCIATION”. SCREA represent the cadres of JE, SE and SSE working in South Central Railway and the association is affiliated to All India Railway Engineers’ Federation, New Delhi.
The basic aims of SCREA are:
1. Promoting technology transfer among Rail Engineers in various departments of SCR with the help of fast growing technology and deriving innovative practices with optimum utilization of available resources to keep SCR as best among the Indian Railways.
2. Inculcation of brotherhood among all Rail Engineers so that the cadre of Group ‘C’ Engineers stands united and strong.
3. To organize periodical development training programs for Rail Engineers with the support of Railway Administration to up grade their technical skills and knowledge with progressing technology by innovative methods.
4. Appraise about the injustice done to the cadre of Rail Engineers during various pay commissions in pay fixation as well in proper recognition vis-à-vis engineers of other central government and PSUs through AIREF before Railway Board and Railway Ministry.
5. Represent difficulties faced by Rail Engineers in execution of duties and grievances of Rail Engineers before competent authority and get them redressed in a harmonious way at Division and Zone levels and to represent through AIREF at Nation level.
6. Taking up social responsibilities as humans during distress occasions.
Sir, the SCREA seeks your blessings in achieving its aims and will shoulder any responsibility allotted by the administration to bring laurels to our South Central Railway.
Thanking you,
General Secretary
SCREA
