ELECTION NOTIFICATION

Dear SCREANs

All of you are aware that the Biannual General Council is proposed to be held on 25^th August 2013 i.e., Sunday; from 10.00 hrs., to 17.00 hrs., at Hawa Mahal (Roof Top Auditorium/Sanchalan Bhavan/Secunderabad). During the BGC; a new body of Office Bearers shall be elected.

In this connection, it is requested that all interested members of the South Central Railway Engineers’ Association shall participate in the elections and to elect the new Office Bearers for the SCREA. Also it is to state that any engineer; who is a MEMBER of the SCREA; can contest in the Election to the post of any of the Office Bearers. The nomination in the prescribed proforma (attached herewith) shall be submitted at least one hour before the commencement of Election procedure.

The Elections will be witnessed by the Central Office Bearers of All India Railway Engineers’ Federation/New Delhi.

Guidelines for contesting the Elections:

1.      The contestant shall be a Member of the South Central Railway Engineers’ Association.

2.      The nomination shall be submitted in the prescribed proforma duly supported by atleast two other members of SCREA.

3.      The filled in nominations shall be submitted to President/General Secretary/Joint General Secretary of SCREA or any other Office Bearer nominated for this purpose by the President/SCREA.

4.      The nomination forms shall be submitted on or before 25-08-2013; at least one hour prior to announcement of election procedure.

5.      In case of NIL nominations for any of the posts of Office Bearers, volunteers from the members of the SCREA can be nominated to such posts. The decission of General Secretary/President off the newly Elected body shall be final in this regard.

BINNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF 'SCREA' AND CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Dear SCREANs
It is proposed to conduct the Biannual General Body meeting of South Central Railway Engineers' Association along with Central Executive Committee meeting of All India Railway Engineers' Federation on 25th August 2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 Hrs., to 17.00 Hrs., at Hawa Mahal (Roof Top Auditorium on Sanchalan Bhavan), Secunderabad. 

Two preliminary meetings were conducted on 26.07.2013 and 04.08.2013 in this connection. 

Dear Engineers
All of you aware that the status of our cadre is being depleted day by day due to anti-subordinate engineers' decisions by the Ministry of Railways and Railway Board. Though several Dharnas and Demonstrations were conducted, the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Railways are keeping a deaf ear. Today we are in a state of BEGGING rather than DEMANDING due to lack of unity among the cadre of Group C Engineers. Though DoPT recommended to upgrade all the Group C engineers in GP 4200 as Group B, the Ministry of Railways is not abiding by the recommendations. whereas, all Group D was merged into Group C under the same recommendations. 
Similar several issues shall be discussed besides strengthening our SCREA. In this connection, BGC is proposed on 25-8-13. All our Federation leaders and the Delegates from other Railway Engineers' Association are being attending to the meeting and addressing the gathered engineers and planning the strategies to be followed to get our genuine demands. In this connection, all the Engineers over S.C.Railway are requested to attend the meeting enmass and make it a great success.
